The Powys Young Person’s Therapeutic and Positive Attachment Service provides essential support to young people across the county of Powys. We provide therapeutic and trauma-informed support to young people and families who are experiencing difficulties with adverse childhood experiences and trauma.
We also provide any other support that may be required by neurodiverse individuals.
The service is available to young people aged 10 to 16 years old, who live or attend school in Powys. We accept self-referrals, in addition to referrals from professionals.

Fit Fans is a free course. The course has already started but if you are interested or know of anyone interested and would benefit from the course please get in touch

The next FIT FANS course kicks off on Tuesday, 14th January 2025 at Latham Park, Newtown AFC!
Men’s session: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Women’s session: 7:15 PM – 8:45 PM

Details below are only a SUGGESTION and we welcome any age, BMI and waistline size!
  •  35-65 years old
  •  BMI of 28+
  •  Waist measurement: 38”+ (male) or 31”+ (female)
These are just suggestions, not requirements! Everyone’s welcome! 
 
What to expect:
Over 12 weeks, you’ll enjoy a relaxed, fun learning experience.
  •  45-minute learning sessions on diet & lifestyle – practical tips to help you eat better and move more! 
  •  45-minute exercise sessions – fun, accessible, and designed for all fitness levels! 
We’ll check progress by measuring weight, blood pressure, and waistline at week 1, 6, and 12.
In our first course, participants lost a total of 20kg!
